SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — Industry veteran Evan Ritchie has joined home furnishings importer Coaster as a sales representative for Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
Ritchie founded B&D Sales in 1976, which later became Emerald Home Furnishings. He sold the furniture importing business about seven years ago and stayed on until June 2008, handling closeouts and special accounts, including distributors in the United States and Canada.
After leaving Emerald, Ritchie worked on other industry projects, including the liquidation of Hamilton Spill's North American operations and the liquidation of American Lighting.
Coaster Executive Vice President of Sales Scott Cohen said during the Las Vegas Market that Ritchie has fit in well with the Coaster team since joining earlier this year.
