Tacoma, Wash. — Emerald Home Furnishings has hired two people in new marketing and customer service positions and has named an industry veteran to run its bedding division.
Kacie Bray has been named marketing director. She will develop point-of-sale materials, work with retailers to build the brand, and maintain the Web site. Formerly in the residential construction industry, she reports to President David Beckmann.
Julie Randall-Carroll has joined Emerald as customer service manager. She was with case goods manufacturer A-America for 24 years, most recently as vice president of sales administration. She replaces Natalie Radtke, who now handles customer service for key accounts, a newly created position.
Radtke and Randall-Carroll report to Chief Financial Officer Jeanine Cassino.
Dave Puterbaugh has joined the company as general manager of its bedding division, Emerald Sleep Systems. He was with Spring Air for six years, most recently as executive vice president of its Salt Lake City facility. Previously, he worked for Serta for 25 years, including service as general manager and sales manager for its Tacoma factory.
Jon Ritchie, formerly general manager for Emerald Sleep Systems, shifts to the newly created position of sales manager. He reports to Puterbaugh.
