Los Angles, Calif. – Eco-friendly products resource Naturescast debuted a batch of furniture items here last week during the 50th Annual Grammy Awards.
Naturescast, a member of the Sustainable Furniture Council, introduced participants to a chic, modern club chair and club stool as well as a matching club side table, in the Grammy Awards Talent Gift Lounge.
The lounge was used by show presenters and performers during rehearsals for the ceremony and showcased home décor items from four members of the SFC. Other participants include Interieurs, O Ecotextiles and Christian Rathbone.
Naturescast is the U.S. subsidiary of a Philippines-based Nature’s Legacy Eximport which produces green furnishings and accessories. The products are made from dry leaves, dead twigs and barks from the forests of the Philippines.
Forest scraps are shredded and bonded together using an odorless water based binder and shaped into unique and functional forms designed by local artists.
