Leland, N.C. — Manufacturer Leather Italia USA has added sales representation to fuel the growth of its domestic quick ship express programs.
Greg Jarvis is representing the newly added territories of Nebraska and Iowa, and special premier dealers.
Reps who have taken over existing territories include: GrayandBlaine Harvey, North and South Carolina; Mark Moss, New Jersey and New York; John Lehman, Virginia; Mike Mackey and Bill Hendricks, Illinois, Minnesota, North and South Dakota and Wisconsin; Ray Isser, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; Herman Dean, Georgia; Chris Piatt, Washington, Oregon and California; and Lorne Rotenberg and Paul Litvack, Canada.
All reps report to Mark Parris, national sales president.
In addition, Leather Italia USA is adding eight new office positions and nine more warehouse positions. The company is also seeking more warehouses to support the growth.
"This attention in the national scope will add security to what we have built and will support our current dealer base more and add depth to our already expanding account base and growth," said Michael Campbell, president and CEO.
SunBelt Furniture Xpress
Hickory, N.C. — Eddie Simon has joined less-than-truckload carrier SunBelt Furniture Xpress as regional director for the western states of California, Arizona and New Mexico. He reports to Stan Froneberger, vice president of sales and marketing.
SunBelt is opening a facility in Fontana, Calif., to serve manufacturers, distributors and importers based in southern California. Simon will be based out of the new facility, and will oversee marketing and operations efforts for the area.
Simon has a background in retail furniture sales and operations at Levitz Furniture and Macy's.
