Thom Filicia to appear at Furnitureland South
Will help launch his collection with Vanguard Furniture

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Celebrity interior designer Thom Filicia will be visit retailer Furnitureland South here Saturday, signing copies of his book and launching the new Thom Filicia Home Collection with Vanguard Furniture.
Filicia, author of "Thom Filicia Style," will be at the store from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The first 100 attendees will receive a free copy of the book. Guests also can register for the chance to win $5,000 of furniture from the new collection.
In addition, representatives from the North Carolina Triad affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will be present to accept donations supporting the fight against breast cancer, in honor of Filicia's mother.
Filicia spent five seasons as the design expert on Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and now hosts the Style Network series "Dress My Nest." Furnitureland South said his new home collection with Vanguard "captures a classic simplicity and injects an unexpected, modern flair."
