Globe Express unveils new logo, Web site

Charlotte, N.C. — Globe Express Services, a third-party logistics provider with expertise in the furniture industry, has unveiled a new corporate logo and a new Web site.
The logo, launched Feb. 1 at Globe's 35 offices around the world, replaces the one the company has used throughout its 34-year history. The logo is part of a rebranding strategy meant to reflect what the company says is its growth and its place in today's "fast-paced, technology-oriented business environment."
"Over the past five years, GES has expanded its global footprint and capabilities to become a truly international player," Chairman and CEO Ziad Korban said. "Globe's new 'look and feel' reflects the company's new status as a blue-chip global logistics provider."
The new Web site (www.globeexpress.com) includes a link with industry-specific solutions for the company's six main revenue sources, including furniture. It also shows the company's office locations, and has a resource center that lets the client enter carton data to calculate shipments in cubic feet and meters. A media section contains press releases and other announcements.
