GREENSBORO, N.C. —
Mark Hobson, a fixture at Sealy for more than 25 years, has left his job as vice president of new business development, to become managing director for the new Sandler Training office here.
He said he has been a student of the Sandler system for more than 20 years, and he described the sales training, mentoring and coaching program as “a cornerstone of my success.”
“Professional sales and business development are both areas that I have always been very passionate about,” said Hobson. “My new role will allow me to use my 30-plus years of experience to help grow the N.C. business community.”
Sandler, which has more than 200 offices worldwide, was ranked as the top training franchise by Entrepreneur magazine for the past three years.
Hobson, a championship cricket player, said he also plans to spend more of his time on the sport. He has been invited to join the board of directors for the Mid-Atlantic Cricket Conference, “a role that will further elevate my involvement with the game of cricket as it grows across the United States,” he said.
Hobson can be reached at markjhobson@hotmail.com. His e-mail address at Sandler will be mhobson@sandler.com.
