Lexington launches new Tommy Bahama line

LAS VEGAS —
Lexington Home Brands celebrated the launch of its newest Tommy Bahama Home collection here with a dealer event that included a tour of this city's Robb & Stucky store and a dinner at a nearby Tommy Bahama Club.
The event took place on the evening of the Las Vegas Market's opening day. Retailers who visited the Lexington showroom that day got a preview of Ocean Club, a clean-lined group with 45 pieces of case goods and upholstery.
While more contemporary in nature than previous Tommy Bahama collections, Ocean Club still has an island flair. It features a mix of hickory veneers, woven and split rattan and metal and glass accents.
About 120 retailers from about 30 stores took part in the Las Vegas tour.
Company representatives and their guests traveled by bus to the Robb & Stucky store at Town Square Las Vegas, a village-like pedestrian shopping mall on Las Vegas Boulevard South. Product in the 93,000-square foot showroom includes eight Lexington and Tommy Bahama groups.
Robb & Stucky CEO Clive Lubner praised Lexington President and CEO Phil Haney and his management team. Lubner said the company's offerings have sold well in recent months.
“This company is the hottest company in the marketplace, and we are excited to be part of it,” he said. “The management team is so head and shoulders above anybody and my compliments to you guys.”
