Enso supports cancer fight with pink mattress

A portion of the sales of Enso's Felicity memory foam mattress, introduced earlier this year and now on retail floors, is being donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The Felicity, retailing at $1,299, has a pink cotton chintz border and features the same specifications as one of the company's best-selling models, Enso officials said.

"We're very excited to work with NBCF," said Mark Akerman, Enso's vice president of sales and merchandising. "This is a win-win. Customers feel good about purchasing a quality mattress and a portion of their purchase goes to help defeat this devastating disease."
He commended Enso's dealers for their support of the national fight against breast cancer, and encouraged them to take part in local efforts as well. Enso has a dealer support kit that provides details on how the retailers can promote the Felicity mattress in their local markets.

"We are proud to partner with Enso Sleep Systems in promoting the fight against breast cancer and supporting women across the country," said Janelle Hail, the founder and CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and a 32-year breast cancer survivor. "Together we are helping women by providing free mammograms, education, support and early detection services."
Enso Sleep Systems will present a donation from its participating furniture dealers to NBCF officials in December. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the Felicity mattress through the end of the year will be donated to the foundation, Enso officials said.
Several Enso retailers say they will be featuring the Felicity mattress prominently in their showrooms in October. And Enso will be featuring the mattress in its showroom at the fall High Point Market.
Enso Sleep Systems Enso uses active charcoal, silver, aloe vera, negative ion, mineral water, bamboo, and airflow pressure relief foam technologies to create products that refresh the environment. The company's use of natural technologies and processes is designed to provide the best experience possible for retailers and consumers, officials said.
