Troutman Chair shows at Cologne Fair

N.C. Commerce Department invites company to German show

COLOGNE, Germany — Troutman Chair Co. took its American-made product to the IMM Cologne furniture fair last month in cooperation with the North Carolina Department of Commerce.

The Troutman, N.C.-based company was invited to show at the fair by Tom Crump, director of the North Carolina Furniture Exports Office, part of the Commerce Department.

Troutman's exhibit featured chairs and a big photo of the late President John F. Kennedy sitting in one of the company's Kennedy Rockers, made under its P&P Chair brand.
