Edge fills VP post at French Heritage

HIGH POINT- Gary Edge has been named vice president of sales and merchandising for high-end case goods and upholstery supplier and manufacturer French Heritage. In the new role, Edge will report to Henessy Wayser, co-owner of the company with Jacques Wayser.
     "Gary is a longtime veteran of the high-end furniture industry," said Henessy Wayser. "He is a product man and a great merchandiser."
     Edge's previous experience includes a position as vice president of furniture design at Macy's, as well as positions with ABC Carpet & Home, Pierre Deux and Domain.
     "I am very excited to join the team at French Heritage," Edge said. "Throughout my retail career, French Heritage has always been an important partner because of the quality and vision that Henessy and Jacques deliver. Now I will have the opportunity to insure that other retailers benefit from that."
