Hickory, N.C. — Vanguard Furniture is working with designer Annie Selke to create a total home collection it plans to launch in midsummer, the upholstery manufacturer and case goods importer announced.
Annie Selke Home will show the designer's classic yet innovative approach to home décor, according to Vanguard.
"We love Annie's approach to design, her use of color and her feminine perspective," said Vanguard President Dixon Mitchell. "Her stunning use of textiles coupled with her flair for classic style that's infused with a touch of quirk makes for products that are fresh yet practical for today's real-life living. She brings an energy to design that's refreshingly authentic and we're excited by the opportunity to execute her vision."
Selke designs other home products for Pine Cone Hill, Dash and Albert Rug Co. and Potluck Studios.
She is a world traveler and flea-market treasure hunter whose designs have been featured in shelter magazines and other media.
