Kendall design scholarship honors Scott Morgan

HIGH POINT — A scholarship fund for design students honoring veteran furniture designer and sales executive Scott Morgan has been established in his name at the Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Friends of Morgan, who is battling cancer, created the scholarship to provide student-designers with opportunities to develop good, functionally designed product.

Morgan, whose family founded Illinois-based Ello Furniture, is best-known as a mentor for designers in the furniture industry. He currently resides in Goa, India.
