Powell launches series of 40 promotions

Culver City, Calif. — To commemorate its 40th year in business, case goods, accent and occasional furniture importer Powell Co. is offering dealers a new promotion every week for 40 weeks.
The Ruby Specials — so called for the gemstone that signifies a 40th anniversary — are available for one week each through the Powell Retailers Online or PowellPRO program, which gives customers access to information about Powell products from any computer or Internet-accessible mobile phone.
"We're extremely excited to be celebrating our 40th anniversary as one of the oldest furniture importers in the country," said Tom Liddell, Powell senior vice president of sales. "We'd like to share some of that excitement with our customers by giving them a truly amazing deal to look forward to each week, from the January Vegas market to the fall High Point Market."
The first Ruby Special was e-mailed to Powell retailers in late January and the final one will be valid for the week of Oct. 27.
Interested dealers who are not yet Powell customers should contact Powell sales reps for information, or go to powellpro.net to fill out a credit application and start receiving the Ruby Special offers.
