The Chair King promotes Jackie Barish to senior vice president of chain

Jackie Barish has been promoted to senior vice president of casual furniture retailer The Chair King.
“With over 30 years of experience in the casual furniture industry, my sister Jackie continues to add needed value to our company,” said David Barish, president of The Chair King.
The Chair King recently acquired controlling interest in Furniture Concepts LLC, which began reopening Fortunoff Backyard Stores in New York and New Jersey on Feb. 1.
Celebrating 60 years in business, The Chair King is the largest casual furniture retailer in Texas with 18 stores in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth. The Chair King also operates a design/contract showroom in Houston under the name Leisure Collections.
The Chair King is consistently ranked within the Top 10 casual furniture retailers in the nation and sells a broad range of pool and patio, wicker and rattan furniture as well as dinettes and barstools. The Chair King also will open Weber Grill Shoppes in each of its showrooms this spring.
