PMD Furniture Direct honors top dealers

GLENDALE, Ariz. —
PMD Furniture Direct honored last year's top dealers during its national sales conference held here at the Renaissance in January.
The Presidents Club winners were honored based on sales performance for the previous year — when PMD transitioned to a franchisor operation — as well as an internal evaluation. They will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico.
The honorees were Barry Bassett, Spokane, Wash.; Pat Benhoff, Baltimore; Larry Cartwright, Evansville, Ind.; Charlie Colwell, Birmingham, Ala.; Jerry Krieg, Tacoma, Wash.; Brad Loy, Boise, Idaho; Lynn Metzer, Denver; Chuck Price, Tucson, Ariz.; Bryan Rackley, Charleston, W.Va.; Steve Sowers, Yuma, Ariz.; Sandi Varn, Tallahassee, Fla.; and Bob Wert, Chico, Calif.
The national sales conference was a first for the Columbus, Ohio-based PMD to help its new roster of franchisees gear up for the year and preview new furniture lines.
Themed, “We are go for launch,” the conference included presentations from founder, CEO and President Jeff Hosking, and other executives, updating franchisees on its private label Royal Heritage Home Furnishings brand, Internet strategies and other plans.
