ASHEBORO, N.C. —
Klaussner Home Furnishings has promoted Mack Peters to the newly created position of vice president of sales and merchandising for the company's International Division.
In his new role, Peters will oversee the soft line goods as well as the sales staff for the company's growing International Division.
Previously, Peters was vice president of merchandising — Essentials, motion and imported upholstery. He also has been a product manager over several lines.
According to Klaussner President and CEO J.B. Davis, “It was necessary to restructure our International Division to reflect the changes in our business and we felt hat these changes will enhance our import efforts and strengthen our merchandising and sales teams for that division.”
Chris Rayle, vice president of merchandising for the International Division, will continue to have responsibility for the hard line goods, Davis added. Rayle, who joined Klaussner in 2006 and was named director of case goods merchandising last year, will report to Peters.
