Transportation conference set for April 16-18 in Florida

Gardner, Mass. — The International Furniture Transportation and Logistics Council will hold its 48th annual conference April 16-18 at the Largo Mar Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The conference theme is "How To More Effectively Control Your Company's Domestic and Global Transportation and Logistics Costs and Services."
A variety of speakers will discuss topics ranging from warehouse operations to supply chain management to home deliveries.
"We're bringing in leading experts in practically every facet of furniture transportation, logistics, warehousing and protective packaging to give attendees tips on how to control costs," said Ray Bohman, the group's managing director.
The event is open to transportation and logistics professionals from furniture manufacturers, importers and retailers, as well as senior executives from specialized furniture carriers, home delivery carriers and third-party providers.
