Furniture Foundation seeks grant applicants

High Point — The Furniture Foundation of the American Home Furnishings Alliance is accepting grant applications for education or research programs aimed at improving management, manufacturing and marketing in the residential furniture industry.
March 14 is the deadline to apply. An explanation of the procedures for applying is available by calling (336) 884-5000, or e-mailing acounts@ahfa.us.
The Foundation has funded projects that were designed to:

Enhance the industry in the mind of the consumer;

Have real and immediate application to the industry as a whole;
-
Increase global competitiveness;
-
Prepare future leaders for the industry.
Grants are not awarded to individuals or government agencies. Those submitting proposals that are selected for further consideration will be asked to make a presentation to the Foundation during the April 7–13 High Point Market.
