High Point Market Authority sets three webinars for early March
Events aim to help exhibitors plan for April market

HIGH POINT — The High Point Market Authority is sponsoring three educational webinars in early March to help exhibitors prepare for the spring market, which takes place April 17-22.The webinars, which are available at no cost to exhibitors, cover exporting opportunities, improving public relations savvy, and connecting with interior designers.
The first event, scheduled for 2 p.m. EST March 3, capitalizes on the market's International Buyer Program status, and is titled "Going Global: Navigating the Export Process in the Furniture Industry."
Speakers include Juanita Harthun, senior international trade specialist with the U.S. Export Assistance Center; Nick Orsini, specialist from the U.S. Census Bureau; Kate Bishop, specialist from the Export/Import Bank's (EXIM) Washington location; Douglas Bell, specialist from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS); and Jan Fields, specialist from the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Assn. of America (NCBFAA).

The second webinar, "Mastering the Art of Online Press Kits," takes place at 2 p.m. EST March 4. During this event, members of the High Point Market's marketing staff will discuss techniques to increase online exposure among buyers, media and other attendees.
Also speaking will be Jennifer Lee Hall, product manager for global trade show services with PR Newswire. The news service has partnered with the market to make discounted packages of services available to exhibitors.
