Vietnamese official says producers unlikely to face antidumping duties
Shipments have not risen to big enough level

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — Vietnamese furniture manufacturers are unlikely to face the threat of U.S. antidumping duties anytime soon, an industry official told the Saigon Times Daily.
The newspaper’s online edition reported today that Tran Quoc Manh, vice chair of the Handicraft and Wood Industry Assn., said that Vietnam’s furniture shipments to the United States have not risen to a level high enough to cause U.S. furniture producers to seek duties.
