Showrooms set to open for High Point Premarket

HIGH POINT —
Sponsoring exhibitors and some other manufacturers will open their doors for the High Point Premarket, set for March 15-16.
Premarket is held about a month before each High Point Market and aims to give retailers a chance to preview major product collections, secure distribution and strengthen relationships with key vendors and company principals, according to market officials.
A number of exhibitors are sponsoring Premarket. In addition, the sponsors also include three showroom operators — 220 Elm, the International Home Furnishings Center and Merchandise Mart Properties — that have tenants participating. Sponsors provide funds for meals, lodging and ground transportation for buyers.
