Shankle named GM of Showplace properties

HIGH POINT —
Showplace has promoted Lisa Shankle to the new post of general manager of all of its High Point properties.
In her new position, Shankle will oversee Showplace, Showplace West and Hamilton Properties, which includes showroom buildings at 200, 320 and 330 N. Hamilton St.
Shankle, who has more than 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, joined Showplace in 2006 and most recently was leasing and property manager for Hamilton Properties.
“We are extremely fortunate to have Lisa as part of our leadership team in High Point,” said Dave Oddo, senior vice president of Lincoln Harris, the court-appointed receiver overseeing Showplace.
“Her experience and leadership in the industry as well as in the real estate arena will be of tremendous value to the future success of the Showplace and Hamilton assets.”
The landmark Showplace building has nearly 500,000 square feet of exhibit space, and the remaining properties have another 200,000 square feet.
