Oriental Weavers hires Brumlow

Dalton, Ga. — Andy Brumlow has been named to the new position of vice president of Oriental Weavers Broadloom.
Brumlow will be responsible for launching Oriental Weavers' broadloom venture in the United States, a new venture for the Egypt-based manufacturer. He will reportto Mike Riley, president of Oriental Weavers USA.
For the past 12 years, Brumlow has served as director of merchandising for carpets and rugs for retailer American Home Showplace/Carpets of Dalton, Ga.
Riley said the OW broadloom line would be introduced later in 2008. Initially, it will consist of patterned woven broadloom in the medium to upper price points. In the future,the company may add high-end tufted broadloom.
Riley said the new line comes in response to dealer requests.
