HIGH POINT — Case goods supplier Martin Home Furnishings has more than doubled the size of its fifth floor Furniture Plaza showroom at the High Point Market. The company has increased its space from 6,500 square feet to 14,000 square feet. A floor-to-ceiling renovation also has been completed.
The company shows in Furniture Plaza, spaces 512, 523 and 525. Martin also has a new entrance directly in front of the building's escalators that it believes will make its showroom easier to find.
Martin sells entertainment and office furnishings under the Kathy Ireland Home by Martin brand and dining and bedroom furniture under the Curt Christian Design by Martin brand.
The Curt Christian line will see an expansion of its Timeless Transitional group in April.
"It's essential that we have enough space to express our direction and provide great ideas to our retailers on how they might showcase our designs," said Curt Christian, Martin's vice president of design.
The company also now has a dining area with windows in the space. Lunch as well as a hand-selected wine list will be available for customers daily during market.
