IBC names Hige to operations post
Will be responsible for 7 U.S. plants

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — International Bedding Corp. said Daniel Hige has joined the company as senior vice president of manufacturing, a new position for the company.
Hige has worked in the bedding industry more than 15 years and most recently was vice president of operations in the northern region for Sealy.
“I am very excited to have Dan join International Bedding’s executive team, where we will benefit from his passion for operational excellence and his proven record of success,” said Tony Smith, CEO of International Bedding.
Hige will be responsible for managing International Bedding’s seven U.S. manufacturing facilities and will oversee efforts to improve product design, quality, delivery service, purchasing and compliance with fire-resistance standards.
