Pottery Barn Bed + Bath opens in New York

New York – Pottery Barn Bed + Bath has moved beyond catalog and e-commerce into bricks and mortar with the opening of stores at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando last weekend, and in Manhattan today. A third iteration of the concept will open next week in Portland , Ore.
While the other two are stand-alones, the Portland Bed + Bath in Portland will be attached to an existing Pottery Barn at The Shops at NW 23rd Ave. , with flow-through from one store to the other.
The Manhattan Bed + Bath location has five dressed beds on the floor, with a total of 20 pattern choices altogether. The store also has more extensive quilt and drapery offerings that at Pottery Barn units. Also new: Mix and Match Bedding components, merchandised by color family. Coordinating upholstery fabric on a display nearby is available for customers who want to completely outfit the room.
Roughly 70% of the merchandise in PB Bed + Bath stores is unique to the brand, with the remainder is also available at Pottery Barn.
