Target lures seasonal shoppers with Whim

Minneapolis – To spark seasonal sales, Target is marketing Whim by Cynthia Rowley in Beach, Party and Picnic modes, comprising hardlines and softlines home entertaining goods.
The soft side includes tablecloths and runners ($9.99), placemats and napkins ($11.99 set) in madras and stripe looks as well as a range of coordinated patterened tote bags ($14.99 and $16.99).
Picnic blankets in polyester with appliqués and carrying straps ($14.99) are offered in stripe, madras, floral, ladybug and dragonfly.
The Whim by Cynthia Rowley collection at Target now comprises 500 items. The latest summer lines launched yesterday, April 27 and will be merchandised online and in stores through June 14, the retailer said.
