Fairfax moves into new space

HIGH POINT —
Case goods importer Fairfax Home Furnishings will be in a larger space at the April High Point Market, which it will share with sister company South Sea Rattan Collection.
The companies will occupy about 14,000 square feet in space M-732 of the International Home Furnishings Center.
Before, the companies shared about 7,500 square feet in H-744, with the product intermingled in that space. Now, Fairfax will have 8,000 square feet of its own, while South Sea will take up the rest, said Joe Elmore, senior vice president of merchandising, sales and product development for Fairfax.
The expansion will allow Fairfax to show 25 new bedroom groups and 16 new casual dining sets. Four-piece bedrooms retail from $1,299 to $1,999 while five-piece casual dining sets start at $399.
Three of the bedroom and dining sets are part of collections that include home entertainment. Fairfax also will show new barstools and accent furniture pieces.
