Capel Rugs promotes Watras to director of merchandising

Capel Rugs has promoted Tami Watras to director of merchandising, a new position with responsibility for the rug source's strategy and execution of merchandise selection, product development and procurement.
Watras reports directly to John Magee, president and CEO. Lou Webster, director of design and product development, will report to Watras.
Watras joined Capel in 2006 as a merchandise manager and most recently served as the general manager of Capel's retail division. Before joining Capel, she held positions in merchandising, product development and sourcing for Ethan Allen, Amy Coe and Lillian August Designs.
