HANOVER, Ontario — Industry veteran Tom Halvorsen has joined solid wood producer West Bros. Furniture as vice president of sales and marketing, a new position.
“Tom’s extensive knowledge of the furniture retail marketplace will be a great asset to our company as we continue to move forward and expand our business,” West Bros. President Paul West said in a statement.
Halvorsen most recently held a similar position with Pennsylvania House, and earlier held senior sales and marketing positions with Action/Lane, Stanley and Bernhardt.
“This company continues to grow even during lean times, because they believe it is still possible to produce a quality domestic product with an uncompromising attention to detail and deliver it quickly,” Halvorsen said. “Their continued commitment to produce solid wood bedroom, dining room, entertainment and occasional products is definitely a testament to the company’s unique versatility.”
Halvorsen will be at the High Point Market next week in the West Bros. showroom at 330 N. Hamilton St., suite 302.
