Pride Sasser taps Chiappa as president

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 6, 2008

Industry veteran Peter Chiappa has been hired as president of high-end accessories and furniture resource Pride Sasser Home Furnishings.

Chiappa left Thomasville Furniture as a senior marketing representative for the Southwest late last year. He replaces Brian Robinson, who left Pride Sasser last summer.

Chiappa began his career in the furniture industry nearly four decades ago with Meyer, Gunther and Martini, a New York-based manufacturer of French reproductions.

At Thomasville, he covered territories in Philadelphia, the Midwest and Metro New York. During the last five years, Chiappa worked with Thomasville dealers in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado.

PSHF designs, manufactures and manages the overseas logistics of its product, and handles its own sales and credit. Related service operations are handled by the sales representatives and internal staff of manufacturer E.J. Victor.
