Flexsteel promotes Freeman, Piekenbrock

Dubuque, Iowa — Flexsteel Inds. has promoted executives Chip Piekenbrock and Roger Freeman to new management positions.
Piekenbrock is now director of marketing, a newly created post. He has worked in varied sales and marketing roles at Flexsteel for 22 years and most recently was director of retail development.
He reports to Jim Richardson, senior vice president of sales and marketing for home furnishings.
Freeman takes over Piekenbrock's former responsibilities as manager, retail development. Freeman is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the retail development department as well as for overseeing sales in retail development programs. The retail unit oversees the Flexsteel Signature Gallery program and other retail functions.
He also will work with Lee David Fautsch, vice president of sales, home furnishings, calling on national accounts.
Freeman joined the company in 2006 as retail development sales manager after 10 years each with Thomasville and Pennsylvania House. In his new role, he reports to both Richardson and Fautsch.
