Vickie Davis joins Soflex in sales, customer service post

DALLAS — Leather upholstery resource Soflex has named veteran sales executive Vickie Davis to the newly created post of director of sales and customer service.
Davis most recently was director of national accounts with massage chair resource Human Touch, a position she had held since 2002. Earlier, she was vice president of sales at Powell Co. for 17 years.
At Soflex, she reports to Jim Smiechewicz, vice president of sales and marketing.
"Vickie brings with her an outstanding track record and strong relationships with many buyers in our industry, which will enable her to have an immediate and positive impact for the Soflex team," said Arthur Chiang, who owns Soflex's factory in Taizhou, China.
Davis said she sees "nothing but tremendous potential" for Soflex. "The company's leadership, the excellent product quality and the quick ship program out of the Dallas warehouse, coupled with the factory's flexibility to build specific products for larger direct container accounts, positions Soflex to become an industry leader in the very near future," she said.
