Stationary upholstery introductions include four sectionals in microfiber with a reversible chaise, priced at $359. Colors include beige, red, sage and chocolate.

Introductions will include upholstery coordinating with major new wood collections, along with one stand-alone upholstery group.

  • In the Michael Amini & Jane Seymour, A Design Collaboration program: Casual transitional groups will correlate to the Cobblestone Road collection, with three distinct living rooms that include upholstered sofas, chaises and sectionals with coordinating slipcovers as well as a vintage velvet group. A four-piece transitional upholstery group, with sofa, armless chaise, settee and high-back chair using specially designed fabrics, will correlate to the Hollywood Swank collection. And Palace Gate will include elegant traditional upholstery inspired by formal European designs. Hard-carved show wood accent pieces in the collection include a sofa, chaise, settee, wood chair and swivel chair.

  • In the Michael Amini Original Furniture Designs program: Introductions include a six-piece traditional upholstery collection that correlates to The Sovereign collection with a curved sofa and matching one-arm chaise, both with hand-carved show wood, specially developed fabrics, leathers, trims and pillows in rich chocolate and cinnamon colors. Also included is a swivel chair. Clayton is a stand-alone, four-piece transitional upholstery group that includes a square-back sofa and matching loveseat, both with leather arms and bases, and fabric seat cushions and back, accented by brass nailheads. Clayton also includes one leather wing back chair and fabric exterior back, and one wood chair with jaguar print fabric.

Introductions will include the No. S63 sofa, loveseat and matching chair, which is part of the Home Traditions collection with a semi-attached square back that is banded and corded and includes a baffled bag in the back; and a traditional chair-and-a-half with twin mattress and sofa in queen or full, with smooth rolled arms accented with cording. Other new chairs include a retro-style model with wishbone arm/leg configuration, a contemporary wood accent chair with open space between the tops of the arms and the chair base that gives it the look of a floating seat and back, and a transitional club chair with Charles of London-styled arms.

Among the company's introductions is the Melody sectional in transitional styling with versatile interlocking pieces and storage ottoman, $3,390 for six pieces; the Bryson sofa in a coffee herringbone cover with tapestry pillows, rolled sock arms and classic tight-back frame, $699; the Taylor contemporary sofa, a kiwi green microfiber with a retro print pattern, $699; and the Debra sofa, a modern vintage look with shelter arms in a nubby raffia with bohemian tapestry pillows, $1,199.

Company is adding key pieces to the Curator Collection by Calvin Klein Home, including welt seam slipcovered sofas and sectionals, accent ottomans, soft upholstered benches finished with curved polished walnut, and a bar height, linear marble table with brushed nickel feet, which is paired with bronze stools.
CRAFTMASTER

The company is adding new products across the board, including two new groups in the Paula Deen collection, and three groups in Better Homes & Gardens. In addition, six to eight groups in the $699 price points will be added.
DORYA INTERIORS

Based in Turkey, high-end furniture source Dorya Interiors is showing new pieces from three collections in its first High Point showing. They include the Savannah chair, a classic contemporary design, $2,890, and the Sierra sofa, with a tufted back, two seat cushions, track arms and leather cover.
ENGLAND

  • The Parker series (sofa, loveseat, rocking loveseat, rocking chair and chair and ottoman) features a tight camel back, rolled arm, curved front panel and turned leg that is available in an antique wash or a dark wooden finish, available in fabric or leather, starting at $599.

  • The Patrick series is a traditional roll arm, three- over-three model with nailhead detail and center leg, available in fabric and leather. Pieces include a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman, starting at $799.

  • The Strickland series (sofa, loveseat, gliding loveseat, chair and ottoman) features a tight back, two-cushion seat with simple skirt and rolled arm. It can take stripes or plaids and is a companion frame to No. 6550, which comes in a solid body, starting at $599.

  • The Gibson series is a simple, transitional styled three-cushion tight-back sofa, with a curved side panel. Pieces include a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman, starting at $599.

  • The Christopher series is a transitional accent chair with a slightly flared rolled arm and tight back with button detail. It is available in a leather look and in all-leather with added nailhead detail, starting at $499.

The company is making a sweeping introduction covering all product categories, both fabric and leather. One new piece is America, a modern version of a Flexsteel classic that distinguishes itself with added shape and comfort. The America has a high back and generous seat cushion and includes Flexsteel's loose pillow back, foam ledge support. Available in fabric or leather, America includes a soft pad on the arm, curvature and padding on the front rail, and lengthy interior. Available as a 92-inch sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman.
HARDEN FURNITURE

The company is launching the Domaine Upholstery program with 30 new upholstery frames and expanded fabric and leather options. In addition, there will be a new memory foam/down cushion option. As part of the introduction, the company will offer special fabric package pricing at market supported by point-of-purchase materials. Pieces include the clean contemporary No. 6502-082 sofa with contrast throw pillows and buttons on the back cushions, stainless steel nailhead trim and exposed cherry feet, $3,210; and two storage ottomans with removable top cushion for storage, accented with stainless steel nailhead trim, each $885.
HOME ELEGANCE

New and best-selling upholstery will be shown, with groups including the No. 9909 collection that allows for right- or left-side sectional configuration as well as an extensive collection of sofas and recliners. New covers on best-selling frames also will be shown.
JACOB ALEXANDER CHAIR

A new contemporary collection with a more modern feel is being added to the company's line of U.S. made bench-made furniture inspired by 18th and 19th century European styles. Items in the line include the No. 200 chair in a Simba ivory fabric and the No. 90 chair in full aniline turquoise leather.
LAURA BIRNS DESIGN

Making its first appearance in High Point, the California-based company offers contemporary, high-end eco-friendly furnishings made in the United States with manufacturing practices and materials that follow sustainable guidelines. Pieces include a contemporary lounge chair with wood legs with detail, natural jute webbing, soy fill (or latex fill available), low VOC glue and adhesives, $3,010.
KAT BURKI

The Chi Chi sofa features a shapely silhouette, modern lines and chic camel suede cover, and is made in the United States.
KEY CITY

The new Patchwork collection is inspired by quilts going back to the 19th and 20th century. There are 20 different patterns brought together by color that are cut, sewn and upholstered in North Carolina. The collection includes the Pavel and Pavel II settee and matching ottoman and the companion chair and ottoman.

Stationary offerings include five new frames and five interchangeable fabric packages with sofas ranging from 91 inches to 102 inches with bright colors and bold patterns for a fresh young approach to seating, sofas from $1,599 to $1,799.
LA-Z-BOY

The company's stationary category is being enhanced with products ranging from petite scale to functional sleep sofas. Products include the Laurel two-seat sofa and sectional, developed for customers who are downsizing. Other pieces include a chair-and-a-half, L-shaped sectional pieces and a cocktail ottoman. In addition, Spencer is a three-size sleep sofa in queen, full and twin sizes, with a classic roll arm.

Company is launching a new licensed upholstery line with Shabby Chic Brands, blending English elegance with California casual. It will include a collection of chairs, loveseats and sofas in a range of washable slipcovers.

Introductions include the Voltaggio bed, featuring a floating platform and beanbag-style headboard; and Razor sofa, a 100-inch-wide model with a new European contemporary cover and Old World smoke finish based with modal legs, $2,850.

Candice Olson's designs for Norwalk include a number of sofas, sectionals, ottomans and chairs, including the Kiley sofa and conversation ottoman with wide track arms and back accentuated with tall scattered back pillows, and unexpected ribbons of nailhead trim. The Sammy sectional, sofa, condo sofa, chair and ottoman features a track arm and options that include tufted or non-tufted pillow backs, baseball stitching and welting, all with a mid-century modern reference. The Millie sectional casual looks features five sharply angled surfaces that present multiple bunching configurations, with plush loose cushions that contrast with a thin padded seat cushion.

Rowe goes for color in a new collection called Eye Candy. Clayton Marcus gives a new twist to its traditional line with an exclusive fabric collection by French textile artist Paule Marrot, with whimsical figures and spirited flower designs. Vivienne Tam is adding a colorful velvet tufted Willow sofa, and clean-lined Poppy, Jasmine and Orchid chairs to her collection; and Robin Bruce combines bohemian artistic influences and cosmopolitan chic in a new collection.
SAFAVIEH

The company is strengthening its offerings in transitional and contemporary seating with new pieces that include the transitional Colin arm chair in a beige linen with nailhead trim, $895; the tufted storage Amelia ottoman in gray linen, $295; and a Bergere arm chair in ice blue canvas with an aged white finish and down fill, $1,195.
SAM MOORE

  • The company is refocusing its New American Home program and will offer 40 to 50 key styles, “the best of the best,” with an array of mixed styles in two price points. The Gold fabric handle has about 120 fabrics, and the step-up Platinum fabric handle is a $50 up-charge offering better looks, with about 75 selections.

  • Also, in keeping with the Envision brand at parent company Hooker and sister company Bradenton-Young, Sam Moore is taking its Envision chair line to completely casual lifestyle, removing all traditional silhouettes and putting the three companies on the same page with the Envision brand of young, casual and affordable furniture.

  • The company also is offering a chair gallery program this market with three levels. Level 1 has eight frames, Level II has 12, and Level III has 16. About 150 fabrics will be available, and the size of the gallery will range from 150 square feet to 300 square feet. Dating incentives and special order discounts will support the program. Also, the company is expanding the Accommodations modular program.

SCHNADIG INTERNATIONAL

  • The company is introducing 62 upholstery pieces across four collections, including 21 new pieces to Caracole, which debuted in October, and 17 new pieces to its opulent and curvaceous Compositions collection along with 13 complementing occasional tables.

  • Outside In from Schnadig Home is a casual living lifestyle collection that correlates with new case goods and blends indoors with outdoors with easygoing pieces for throughout the home. The company said Outside In draws inspiration from two lifestyles, the languid, idyllic beauty of the French countryside and the casual yet refined sensibilities of the Hamptons. The palette includes pale linen, soft sage and blue juxtaposed with bright apple green and aqua blue.

  • Also new from Schnadig Home are introductions in the classic American Kaleidoscope collection of streamlined pieces with a modern attitude. Among the four pieces of Kaleidoscope is the Denton sofa, combining a chic patterned faux leather with a chenille in a palette of golds and charcoal with rich red accents.

STICKLEY UPHOLSTERY

Stickley Fine Upholstery's Selectionals program includes the new No. 300 Series, providing custom arm, back and base options for a broad selection of new, low-profile frame components. Also new is the Design Basics program, offering a wide range of designer options for value-conscious consumers. Distinctive new frames include the Shelter Sofa, with married fabric and leather, a low and deep bustle-back sofa, and a surprisingly trim recliner. More than 100 new fabrics and leathers are being introduced at the same time.
TAYLOR KING

The company's introductions include Taylor Made 2010 . . . The Next Generation, which offers consumers length options in four-inch increments ranging from 60 inches to 112 inches. Also being introduced is the option to select from two seating depths — the standard at 39.5 inches or the Continental, which is five inches deeper.
THAYER COGGIN

New designs include the Hadley sofa and lounge chairs Turn, Ten and Meridian designed by Ransom Culler; the Halfpipe lounge chair by Guy Hill; and, in his first showing with Thayer Coggin, Stanley Jay Friedman's Nicolo sofa.
TLS BY DESIGN

Introductions include a pair of romantic 1940s-era settees in an Ennis Maria cotton velvet, $2,500, and stools or ottoman in a cotton velvet pillow-top with faux reptile base and transitional tapered legs with casters, $650.
