Huntingdon promotes Frenzel

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 6, 2008

Case goods importer Huntington Furniture has promoted Bruce Frenzel to manage company's product development efforts, in addition to his duties as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

A 30-year industry veteran, Frenzel had similar roles at Thornwood, Silver Furniture and JDI, an occasional division of Klaussner before joining Huntington in September.

He reports to company CEO Eric Easter, who said the company added the product development responsibilities in response to Frenzel's strong performance in the sales and marketing job.

"Bruce brings a fresh perspective and incredible passion to his new duties," Easter said in a statement. "Bruce spends virtually all of his time in the field listening and learning. Consequently, there is no doubt that the product Huntington develops will be timely and sensitive to consumer and retailer needs."
