HIGH POINT —
Industry veteran Russell Towner has been named president of high-end importer Theodore Alexander USA, a newly created position.
The High Point-based company is the sales, marketing and distribution arm of the Theodore Alexander line for the United States, Canada and Mexico. The company handles duties previously executed by Sherrill Furniture.
Towner reports to Harvey Dondero, CEO of Vietnam-based Theodore Alexander. David Koehler, senior vice president of sales, and Doug Jermyn, vice president of operations, both at Theodore Alexander USA, will report to Towner.
Most recently Towner was vice president of sales and marketing for case goods manufacturer Taracea. He previously held positions at Henredon, where he was responsible for sales and distribution of luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren and Barbara Barry.
“He possesses the business acumen and qualities we need to continue the extraordinary growth of Theodore Alexander USA. We expect he will lead the company to new heights in the coming years,” Dondero said in a press release.
