HIGH POINT —
Italian contemporary case goods specialist Calligaris USA has promoted Giorgio Ricci to sales manager.
He replaces Simone Passon, who left the company about three weeks ago to pursue other interests in the industry.
Ricci has been with Calligaris since 2008. He joined the company as East Coast sales manager and later expanded his territory to include Mexico.
Before joining Calligaris, Ricci was a general manager at Italian case goods producer Doimo Group for about two years, working in the company's North Carolina office. Earlier, he was with Italian case goods producer Corsini Group and was based in New York.
Ricci reports to senior management based in the company's headquarters in Italy.
At the High Point Market, the company shows in space H-524 of the International Home Furnishings Center.
