ENGELWOOD, Colo. —
American Furniture Warehouse has completed a conversion to Storis Management Systems' latest release of its retail software R8.7, according to Storis.
The Top 100 furniture retailer has more than 1,000 users running on the latest release, Storis said. American, a Top 100 company based here, has been a customer of Storis for 19 years.
“Partnership is the key word. I feel AFW and Storis have grown together over the years,” said Jake Jabs, president and CEO of the retailer. “We've brought great ideas to each other and have made them happen. The Storis team has always been responsive to our needs and open to help deploy new technologies to enhance the customer experience.”
American Furniture served as the beta site for the conversion to the new software. David Berger, director of product development for Storis, said the product has numerous enhancements and “we're thrilled with the results.”
Tony Mitchell, vice president of American, said salespeople can enter orders much faster. “Every department has more information in fewer screens,” he said. “It has also drastically reduced our training time for new employees.”
