Spak leaves Catnapper
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 20, 2008
Cleveland, Tenn. — Randy Spak has left motion specialist Catnapper as senior vice president of sales and merchandising after nearly two years at the company.
Spak, the former president of Lane Home Furnishings, will pursue new business opportunities. He had joined Catnapper parent Jackson Furniture Inds. in July 2006, dividing sales and merchandising duties with Keith Jackson, senior vice president.
Spak managed the Catnapper motion division, while Jackson supervised the Jackson Furniture stationary division. Jackson again will assume responsibility over both divisions, said Ron Jackson, president and CEO.
Spak had worked at Lane for 20 years before leaving the company in 2005. Previously, he was vice president of the upholstery division of Simmons.
