SEHFA holding convention June 8–11 in Destin, Fla.

High Point — Southeastern Home Furnishings Assn. members will travel to Destin, Fla., for four days of education and fun in the sun at their June 8-11 convention at the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort.
The educational portion of the SEHFA event will be devoted to finding solutions that will assist retailers in making the most of good times and weathering the bad.
Philip Gutsell of GutSell & Associates will lead two sessions: "Growing Your Business When Facing Challenging Conditions" and "Actions for Transactions." John Egger of Profitability Consulting Group will speak on "Improving Your Financial Matrix" and will facilitate a roundtable discussion.
Recreational activities at the event, which has a western theme, will include a golf tournament and a Cowboy Hoe Down dinner and costume party where members will dress as cowboys and cowgirls.
SEHFA, an affiliate of National Home Furnishings Assn., serves retailers in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle.
