Futon, specialty sleep group leases Vegas space
FAST members to show in Building C

LAS VEGAS — The Futon and Specialty Sleep Trade has signed a long-term lease for permanent space at the World Market Center here.
Association members will display futons, sofa sleepers, specialty bedding and related home furnishings in space 1440 of the WMC’s new Building C, set to open this summer.
The FAST showroom, coupled with a permanent showroom sponsored by the Specialty Sleep Assn., announced earlier, strengthens the World Market Center’s leading position in the bedding category. Members of both groups had exhibited in temporary space on the WMC campus, and are now moving to permanent showrooms.
“Each exhibitor’s presentation can remain in place so they do not have to construct and dismantle their exhibits for each show,” said Sue Tedesco, FAST president. And with the permanent space, customers will always know where the companies are exhibiting, she said.
“FAST expects the World Market Center to continue to grow and to be central to the long-term well-being of the home furnishings industry,” Tedesco said.
