KOHLER, Wis. — Kohler Co., parent company of full-line manufacturer Baker Furniture, has acquired hospitality furniture specialist Mark David.
Founded in 1990, Mark David has its headquarters, warehouse and upholstery production facility in High Point. It caters to high-end country clubs, restaurants and resorts such as the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Starwood.
“Mark David provides a strong complement to our existing portfolio of premier home fashion brands,” said Rachel Kohler, president of the Interiors group.
Mark David founder Mark Norcross will be president for the brand. In April, Hospitality Design magazine recognized Norcross with the Manfred Steinfield Award for Humanitarianism, citing his commitment to corporate responsibility, community outreach and philanthropy.
