Furniture First adds three members

Buying group also sets symposium for Aug. 19-21

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Buying group Furniture First has added three new members and also has announced the dates for its annual member symposium.

The member-owned buying cooperative approved member/stockholders David Pierce of Pierce & Sons and Furniture and Mattress Outlet, Muscatine, Idaho; Forrest Lilly of Indian River Furniture, Rockledge, Fla.; and Clay Erickson of Erickson Furniture, Everett, Wash.

This year’s education symposium will be held Aug. 19-21 in Chicagoland at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill. In addition, the organization holds two general member meetings annually, one at the spring High Point Market and the other at the winter Las Vegas Market.

Furniture First has 160 owner members with 328 stores in 44 states doing $1.4 billion in annual sales.
