Foam producers agree to fire settlement
Leggett & Platt, three others to pay $30 million

BOSTON — Leggett & Platt and three other foam producers have agreed in principle to pay $30 million to victims of a 2003 Rhode Island nightclub fire that killed more than 100 people, according to a Reuters story.
The flammable polyurethane foam was determined to be used as soundproofing in the club walls.
