Baer's set to open big furniture store in Melbourne, Fla.

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Baer's will open a 100,000-square-foot showroom here Thursday, featuring Lexington Home Brands, Bernhardt and other midpriced to high-end lines.

The showroom on West New Haven Avenue is No. 15 for the Pompano Beach, Fla.-based Top 100 company (including its Dania Beach, Fla., design center).

Baer's is celebrating with an opening party at the new store Thursday night, a special discount on Lexington and Lexington's Tommy Bahama collections, and a chance for consumers to win a $5,000 room makeover, according to television spots.

Furniture/Today will be attending the opening, so look for more coverage soon.
