Sauder unveils Mossy Oak camo line

HIGH POINT - Thanks to a new licensing agreement with camouflage specialist Mossy Oak, ready-to-assemble furniture source Sauder Woodworking is the latest furniture company to make a style statement with the woodsy patterns.
At the October High Point Market, the company introduced its Mossy Oak themed living room with a convertible sofa, three storage cabinets and a number of storage ottomans. The sofa and ottomans are covered in Mossy Oak fabrics and the storage cabinets are in Mossy Oak laminates.
At market, Sauder paired the new items with its Boone Mountain occasional and entertainment pieces - including a coffee table and two end tables - shown in a rustic and textured lintel oak finish.
The company signed an agreement with Mossy Oak in September, said Kevin Sauder, Sauder president and CEO.
"It will help get us into places we haven't been able to touch," Sauder said, noting that the possibilities include hunting, fishing and outdoor supply retailer Bass Pro Shops. "We are targeting some new channels."
In addition, Sauder showed its Flat Creek laminate youth bedroom, which includes a $149 twin bed and a four drawer chest also featuring camouflage patterns.
Sauder showed a living room vignette in Mossy Oak themed fabrics and laminates.
