Global Link Logistics adds routing software

Expects to boost productivity, improve service

ATLANTA — Furniture logistics specialist Global Link Logistics has chosen Management Dynamics transportation management software to provide customers with more flexible and competitive routing options.

According to Global Link, the Web-based software allows the company to boost productivity and customer service through a search engine that evaluates various rate and routing options. The search engine has helped Global reduce the time it spends routing shipments by 20%.

The program also helps Global Link audit freight bills 30% faster, which officials claim helps eliminate carrier overcharges and avoid misquotes.
