MILWAUKEE — Verlo Mattress Factory has promoted five veteran employees to new positions.
Dale Rome, a 23-year Verlo veteran, has been named vice president of sales and operations, while Bobby Cleveland has been named general manager, Tom Metz director of product development and special projects, Darren Brylow assistant general manager, and Stephen Shelly director of operations.
Verlo officials said the promotions fill key operational positions at the corporate franchise support center and the corporate-owned store system.
"The strength of Verlo is the expertise of our people," said CEO Chris Nolte. "We are very fortunate to be able to leverage the experience of our seasoned employees. It makes growing our business that much easier.
Verlo Mattress Factory was acquired by Marcus Investments last year. The promotions reflect improvements that have been made at the company since that time, officials said.
