ATLANTA — Global Link Logistics, a major furniture logistics provider, has promoted Hessel Verhage to president.
Verhage has been with Global Link since 2006, most recently as vice president of trade, with responsibility for the company’s carrier procurement activities.
As president, he replaces John Williford, who recently left the company to pursue other opportunities.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust that Global Link has placed in me,” Verhage said. “I will dedicate 110% of my focus and energy in working with the excellent people of Global Link to reward that trust.”
Before joining Global Link, Verhage spent more than 10 years with shipping and logistics providers AIT and Menlo Worldwide.
